Jill is an attorney by day and yoga teacher and reform instructor by early morning and night. She has always been highly competitive, wanting to "play with the boys" since she was 3. That led her to sports such as soccer and ice hockey, which she played in college. After college, she took up distance running, which led to a laundry list of injuries. As a self-proclaimed cardio or adrenaline junkie, it took Jill some time to find alternative ways to move her body that gave her the same feeling of a good workout. She found power yoga, which led her to Reform.
Jill still remembers every detail of her first class on the megaformer. She was so humbled by how this 40 minute, low-impact workout was so challenging. She felt so accomplished and was instantly hooked.
Jill likes to mix it up so you don't know what is coming! Her classes push you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. She challenges you to meet yourself where you are and go a little bit further. She also loves music and lives by her playlists, which are made-up of remixes and mash-ups. Her motto for motivation is where words fail, music speaks!
